Yes there is, there is something strange in the basement. Long ago, the town kindergarden was located there, I attended the last year it was. I saw something tall and hooded in black. Would like to go back there, but with some people. Rumors of a woman in white on the 3rd floor as well

Sarvay Hall [dorm building] is haunted...it burned a long time ago. but they rebuilt it from the concrete part up.

I haven't been able to find out too much about the case but the haunting here may be as a result of the murder of a student at the college by another student:

David Reid is the namesake of the David A. C. Reid Memorial Scholarship for the Visual Arts. A talented actor, musician and artist, his work was highly praised. He was looking forward to his graduation from Concord College in Athens, WV, when his life was cut short by a stalker- a classmate, who, like so many other people, David had befriended.

Finding out where David lived while a student and where he was killed may help in figuring out if this is the cause of the haunting.
