Civil War reenactors (in Union uniforms) report experiencing a fog, shadows, and a feeling of welcoming. Others have reported cold spots by Providence Spring and Stockade Creek. One woman reports a vision of a man on a crutch. He was missing a leg and wearing a Confederate uniform standing beside one of the graves. She asked her husband if he saw it, not taking her eyes off the man, he too saw it. At first they thought it was a reenactor, but they were all back at the camp. When they passed the spot, the man looked in his rear-view mirror and no one was there. The feeling of people reaching out to you with outstretched arms. You feel despair, suffering and so much death.
