This park is said to be haunted. There is a building there that is thought to be an old orphanage school. In this school, some of the kids that never were adopted or selected by foster parents were murdered. The playground the orphans used is still there today. Some claim that late at night, you can hear faint giggles of the kids that once played on the toys at this park and that is why the park is named "mini haha". There is a small stream nearby however that may be the source of this laughter, the water moving through and over the rocks echoes slightly and can sound like voices and laughter to some.

The building was not an orphanage, it was a place people would have parties at in the 1920's. It was supposed to be the new hollywood. Obviously this did not occur, but there are many strange things that did happen when I was growing up. It's a wierd and dark place. I think it used to be a burial ground of some kind for the Native Americans. You can feel something eerie when you walk onto the grounds of that park.

"Minnehaha is a fictional Native American woman documented in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's 1855 epic poem The Song of Hiawatha. She is the lover of the titular protagonist Hiawatha. The name is often incorrectly said to mean "laughing water", though in reality it translates to "waterfall" or "rapid water" in Dakota" -via Wikipedia on the name of the character.
