Although the Umpqua Bank is a relatively new building (I remember when there was a gas station at that location), it is located close to the epi-center of the Roseburg blast which happened in the late 1950s. A semi truck loaded with chemical fertilizer exploded destroying blcoks of buildings downtown and killing many. The bank is located only two blocks from the historic Dysinger House, which has more than its share of unexplained activity.
